Holidays of the Senses

Seven days in Tuscany of gentle care for the body and of artistic and natural beauty for the spirit.

Tuscany. This magic word evokes a series of images of extraordinary beauty which resolve into a vision of a place outside time, a place of relaxation away from the world and close to the soul.

Gentle rolling hills are marked occasionally by a line of solitary cypresses, and, here and there, by a castle or a medieval village. Towns built from the rock there are, behind whose walls are preserved treasures sculpted in marble, and scenes painted on canvas or on the walls of churches and grand houses; terracotta pots from which flows the fragrant smell of olive oil; old cellars full of casks and bottles of precious wines; and in the old workshops, fine examples of craftsmanship.
